Diana Adams, Esq, national legal advocate for LGBTQ families gives this free talk!

Trans and Gender Non-Conforming people face special challenges in family law. If states disagree about whether they accept your gender status, could you legally be in a same-sex marriage in some states but not others? How could that affect your benefits and your parenting status? If a trans man donates an egg, or a trans woman donates sperm to a partner before medical transition, are they legally a mom or dad? Does it matter? How should they protect their parental rights? Learn the answers to these questions and bring your own, so that we can protect our families when we have children or build partnership.
