[edit] Regional Categories
Hi, nice start! Can I suggest that the categories within the US go along the following: Neighborhood, City, County, State, Nation, Continent. It's similar to what you have, but it might be an alternate way that people will latch on to.
I'll spread the word about the Wiki. I hadn't seen this one, although I'm working on Left Space and Right Wing. Chadlupkes 15:53, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reaction. If I understand you correctly, you are suggesting that geopolitical categories within an instance of a geopolitical category (i.e. that the instance "intra-nation:U.S." have geopolitical super-ordinate and sub-ordinate categories of itself listed) be included. I find your suggestion valuable in that it is important to diversify the ways by which this site can be navigated. Please let me know if I got what you mean: Geopolitical Relatives of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Sammy 16 March 2006
- I haven't been here for a while, but I think you've got the idea. However, you're making it much too complicated. Each page doesn't need links to all the levels, just the level above. Chadlupkes 14:07, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
- This is a great project - But I think its kind of hard to navigate. So is the Wiki Campaigns site, and I didn't do any better with a similar project I've been working on. How can a wiki aiming at democratizing democracy be organized? Maybe a kind of branching best-practices and examples structure? I'd thought that people could share their stories and also contribute to single pages of agreed upon successful strategies? What are you thinking? Nathanvogel 1.00, 2 Feb. 2007
[edit] Snorg Tee ads
Hi, I wanted to comment that i don't feel comfortable referring children to this wiki due to the nature of the large "snorg tee" advertisements featuring girls half exposing themselves in sexual fashion. I find the ads offensive as female degradation. Who controls these ads? Wikia or Grassroots?Something 06:01, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
