Internationalist Books and Community Center Announces Grand Opening Date and Launches Month-Long Fundraising Campaign

Internationalist Books and Community Center announced in July that the project will move to a new location.

The move is an opportunity for Internationalist Books and Community Center to expand its work as a radical resource center, building on three decades as a hub for organizing, community events, and access to radical and independent books in North Carolina.

On Friday, August 29, Internationalist Books and Community Center launches a month-long fundraising campaign, collaborating with a wide range of other grassroots organizations and local businesses to help spread the word about how the community can financially support the relocation and expansion of resources and programming in the new space.

After over 30 years in downtown Chapel Hill and 18 years at the current location on Franklin Street, Internationalist Books will move to 101 Lloyd Street in Carrboro.

Internationalist Books plans to open in their new location with a day of festivities on Sunday, September 28th.
